The MYSPOTLYTE Test is a screening test for cancer, neoplasms, vascular and spinal conditions, not a diagnostic MRI. Further testing may be required at the discretion of your physician.
The test is not appropriate for pediatric screening, and there may be size and weight restrictions, so please consult with your test site if you have any questions.
No. Your results are shared directly with you and, at your discretion, your physician. We recommend including your physician to assist in explanations and workup for any concerning findings. MYSPOTLYTE will not receive your test results and should not be considered a medical provider.
Who interprets your results:
Your MYSPOTLYTE Test will be read by a leading Board Certified Radiologist who is fellowship-trained in MRI Radiology.
There are no dietary restrictions for receiving a whole-body MRI.
No. We recommend that MYSPOTLYTE test results are shared with your personal physician.
The MYSPOTLYTE test takes approximately one hour. The imaging testing center will likely recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete standard pretest paperwork. Specific timing issues can be clarified by contacting the testing center directly.
Typically, most metal orthopedic implants are compatible with MRIs. However, certain implants, such as specific bone stimulators or pacemakers, are not compatible. We recommend discussing MRI suitability with your primary care physician before booking a MYSPOTLYTE test.
No. MRIs are radiation-free, and no contrast is required.
MYSPOTLYTE.COM facilitates your scheduling and does not receive or have access to your test results. These will be stored securely at the testing facility in a HIPAA-compliant manner. Digital copies of images can be provided on request, and the report will be emailed to you. We strongly urge you to consult your physician regarding any concerns.

We cannot refund a missed appointment. We recommend contacting the testing facility as soon as possible to discuss potential rescheduling at their discretion.
Please contact the MYSPOTLYTE testing location where you booked your appointment at least 48 hours before arrival to reschedule at no extra cost. Rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment is at the discretion of the testing location.
Once booked, cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the appointment will be refunded $500. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 48 hours.
We work diligently to safeguard appointments. However, if the testing center must cancel or reschedule, they will contact you directly. Should you encounter booking problems, contact us at support@myspotlyte.com.
The report provides screening results for diseases, tumors, and medical conditions present from the head to the pelvis. It includes highlights and general explanations of relevant findings by the reading radiologist. Although capable of demonstrating hundreds of conditions, the test should not be considered absolutely comprehensive.
